Beginning an adventure

Beginning an adventure at any age is exciting. If you want to learn to ride a bike at age 5, then expect some thrills and some spills. I have evidence of the latter on my knees. Mom would always fix me up for the next ride. Eventually I learned to balance and off I went. At age 40 I learned to rock climb and snow board with my friends. No spills with rock climbing, but yes with snow boarding. Too many in fact, so I gave that up to preserve my body for my years in later life. My wife and I are avid RVr’s. We love to load up our 30’ Airstream and take off for adventures on the road. Those adventures even took us to Alaska in 2019. We spent 10 weeks traveling through Canada and Alaska. Talk about an adventure! Those memories don’t fade. They grow more fond with time, so we decided to go back to Alaska the summer of 2024. This time with some friends who also love adventure in their RV.

Deciding to start a website for my photography has also been an adventure. So many decisions to make concerning how it should look and function. I decided to start with the very most basic functions. Viewing only for now. In the future, I may embark on yet another adventure with offering some of my images for print. For now though, I feel most comfortable with the site as viewing only. I will try to learn as much as I can as time goes on, I will make adjustments here and there, and add things that make sense for my style and goals. My goal is not to sell as many prints as I can. I simply love photography and creating images. I love the outdoors and want to show that passion in my work.

I certainly appreciate your visiting the site and welcome any comments!
